What we collect, and why.

Who we are. Tonic Communications, an independent brand and performance agency working across the Gulf. For anything about your data, write to hello@tonicomms.com.
What you give us deliberately. The contact form asks for your name, your email, optionally your company, what you need, and your message. That is it. It reaches our inbox and is stored in our CRM, HubSpot, so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. We use it to answer you and to follow up. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.
What the site collects while you read. This site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads analytics, and the HubSpot tracking script. Together they set cookies and record things like which pages you viewed, how you arrived, roughly where you are, and what browser you use. It is used to understand which work people actually read, not to identify you personally.
Who else sees it. HubSpot, as our CRM and for site analytics, on their European instance. Google, through Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Both are processors acting on our instructions. Our site is hosted on a server in Finland, so data is handled in Europe.
How long we keep it. Enquiries stay in the CRM while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period after, so we have a record of what was discussed. Analytics data expires on the providers' own schedules. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will.
Controlling cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time, and the site will still work. We are adding a proper consent control; until it is live, your browser setting is the mechanism, and you should treat analytics as on by default.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it is used. Write to hello@tonicomms.com and we will act on it. If you are in the EU or UK these are your GDPR rights; in Qatar they sit under Law No. 13 of 2016 on Personal Data Privacy Protection.
Changes. If this changes materially we will update this page and the date below.
